COPS

COPS is the Appalachian Basin's coordinated effort on the topics of physical and cyber security. COPS stands for Coalition of Operators and Pipeline Security. The mission is to inform, prepare, prevent and respond to threats to industry safety and security.

STEPS

The Appalachian STEPS Network is a chapter of the National STEPS Network.  STEPS is an acronym for Service, Transmission, Exploration, & Production Safety.  They are a group of 900 HSE professionals in the oil & gas industry who meet to network and learn.  The Appalachian STEPS Network chapter encompasses the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.  Their goal is to promote health, safety, and environmental improvement in the Appalachian Basin and to foster a work environment that relies upon open communication and trust.
